This project focuses on improving phishing detection, analysis, and mitigation at the University of Birmingham, targeting platforms without Single Sign-On (SSO). Using a successful phishing attempt as a case study, it aims to identify vulnerable user groups and enhance training programs to reduce exposure. Methods include phishing simulations and user surveys, with expected outcomes of better detection rates and reduced phishing incidents.
Pentesting IoT Device - Goowls Smart Home Camera
A penetration test on the Goowls Smart Home Camera was conducted to evaluate its functionality and security, simulating a malicious attacker within the scope of our user account. The assessment identified vulnerabilities and secure aspects of the device. This project was completed collaboratively, with team members contributing to different stages, ensuring a thorough and well-rounded evaluation.
